Wat Je Plant Denkt (What Your Plant Is Thinking)

During a two-day collaboration with writers Sanne Vanderbrugge and Jibbe Williams for Oorzaken Festival 2021, we tried to imagine the thoughts of a plant. We provided the music and lyrics, the audience provided the input.
In the morning, over coffee and croissants, we talked to that evening’s audience. We shared our most special experiences with nature, looked for sentences and sounds, and unpacked why we love nature so much.
That evening, tive at Kriterion Amsterdam, and via live audio stream, we performed what we had created that day. A new, bespoke story, read by the writer himself. With new music, specially written for this story, for and with this audience.
